Después de un 2025 lleno de sorpresas, apuestas fuertes y películas que desde su estreno se sentían “material Oscar”, por fin la Academia reveló la lista oficial de nominados a la 98.ª edición de los Premios. Y aunque la temporada de premios parecía haber dejado a varios ganadores cantados, el anuncio final demostró una vez más que Hollywood nunca deja de sorprender.
Esta entrega sin duda marcará un año especialmente emocionante con grandes favoritos, fenómenos inesperados, récords históricos y algunas ausencias que ya están dando de qué hablar. Producciones que dominaron festivales y premios previos llegaron fuertes al cierre.
En corto, Sinners hizo historia al convertirse en la película con más nominaciones al Oscar de todos los tiempos, mientras One Battle After Another (que se creía sería la película dominante) se consolida como su rival directa en una de las carreras más intensas que se recuerdan. A eso se suma una contienda cada vez más internacional con un Brasil dejando huella por segundo año consecutivo, la llegada de una nueva categoría (¡enhorabuena!) y una mezcla perfecta entre cine de autor, grandes producciones y apuestas arriesgadas.
La ceremonia se celebrará el 15 de marzo de 2026, con Conan O’Brien como anfitrión, y todo apunta a que será una noche tan impredecible como apasionante.
