Las películas que marcaron la noche
En cine, Hamnet dio uno de los golpes más fuertes al llevarse Mejor Película de Drama, posicionándose como un contendiente serio para la temporada. En contraste, One Battle After Another dominó la conversación al imponerse como Mejor Película de Comedia o Musical, además de arrasar en dirección y guion gracias a Paul Thomas Anderson.
La noche también confirmó el giro cada vez más global de los Globes. El thriller brasileño The Secret Agent triunfó como Mejor Película de Habla No Inglesa, mientras que KPop Demon Hunters se convirtió en el fenómeno animado definitivo del año, llevándose tanto Mejor Película Animada como Mejor Canción Original.
Jessie Buckley ganó como Mejor Actriz de Drama por Hamnet, el brasileño Wagner Moura se impuso en como Mejor Actor de Drama y Timothée Chalamet confirmó su estatus de favorito en comedia o musical. Si hubo un gran ganador transversal fue la televisión. Adolescence, The Pitt y The Studio dominaron sus respectivas categorías, dejando claro que el formato seriado sigue marcando el pulso cultural. Adolescence, en particular, fue la producción más premiada de la noche, confirmando que su impacto va mucho más allá del shock inicial.
